Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide support with mobility and transfers, including use of assistive devices
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Monitor and report changes in clients health, behavior, or general well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress
Qualifications:
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Physical ability to assist with client mobility and perform care duties
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
