resident Assistant Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in , home care environment. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, support resident comfort, and contribute to the overall well-being of individuals in their care. This role is vital in ensuring that resident receive the attention and assistance they need while promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere. Duties Assist resident with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide emotional support to resident and their families during challenging times. Help with mobility by assisting resident in moving from beds to wheelchairs or other locations. Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident environments by adhering to infection control protocols. Document resident care activities accurately in electronic health records or other systems. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Participate in training sessions and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills. Skills Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology. Experience or familiarity with hospice care , nursing home , memory care , hospital medicine , and home care settings is preferred. Strong understanding of geriatrics and the unique needs of elderly patients. Ability to operate various healthcare systems for documentation and patient management. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing quality care .
