Caregiver for Seniors

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in need, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions
• Assist with meal planning and preparation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
• Drive individuals to appointments, outings, and activities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in your care

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of hospice care and working with individuals with autism is a plus
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and procedures is beneficial
• First aid certification is a plus
• Experience in direct support or working with individuals with special needs is highly desirable

• Compassionate and caring nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with diverse populations
• Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors or communication difficulties
• Organizational skills to manage schedules, appointments, and medication administration This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check.
