Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support with daily activities and personal care. This vital role offers an opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care within clients' homes, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being through dedicated service and professional expertise. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs, including heavy lifting when necessary Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy standards Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote overall health and safety Qualifications Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, memory care, autism spectrum disorder, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and training in hospice or long-term care are advantageous Ability to work independently with strong patient observation skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients' families and healthcare teams Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and assist with mobility support equipment Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts lives. $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
