Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Caregiver to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with diverse needs, promoting their independence, safety, and well-being. This position offers an energizing opportunity to work closely with clients in various settings, including home care, assisted living facilities, and community environments. Your efforts will help create a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, changing linens, and ensuring hygiene standards are met Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being Follow detailed care plans designed for residents with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities, including memory care strategies and social work approaches Skills Proven experience in home health care, hospice care, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable; experience with HIPAA compliance is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans and administer medications responsibly Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional caregiving services in a dynamic environment.
