Opportunity for a Personal Care Attendant to work with the elderly in the home. Primary function is to provide personal care and related services to the client in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations and problems with the supervisor.

Responsibilities can include:

Carry out assigned Activities of Daily Living and follow Individualized Service Plan. Assist with safe transfers (in and out of bed/ chair/ toilet) Assist with Incontinent Care/ Adult Diapers Assistance with medications Assist with meal preparation Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, take out trash, clean kitchen Bathe clients, assist with showers and partial baths as appropriate. Must be able to identify client needs or changes in condition and communicate observations to supervisor

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds while safely assisting clients in transferring and movement. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to utilize durable medical equipment in the home.
