The ideal candidate is patient, responsible, able to work independently, and committed to helping residents maintain a safe, supportive, and comfortable living environment. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, bathing/showering assistance, medication administration, and household cleaning.
- Provide transportation to community activities, day habilitation sites, and medical appointments.
- Support residents in maintaining routines, safety, and independence within the group home.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral or medical needs, including performing CPR and restraints when required.
- Complete required documentation and use a computer as needed for job-related tasks. Qualifications
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be comfortable using a computer.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Must be physically able to perform CPR, restraints, and lifting as required for the position.
- Criminal background screening required.
- Previous group home experience is a plus.
