Job Description
Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In-Home Caregiver working overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM in Montgomery, TX! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night. Your proactive approach and attentive observation will help create a secure and supportive environment, empowering clients to maintain independence while receiving the assistance they need. Duties Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, promptly reporting any concerns or changes. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and resident rights. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Conduct thorough cleaning of living spaces to ensure a safe, sanitary environment that promotes health and comfort. Support residents with assisted living activities, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, and support individuals with neurodevelopmental or developmental disabilities. Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings using safe patient transfer methods and personal transportation support. Requirements Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in settings such as group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures including CPR and first aid certification. Familiarity with care plans development and implementation for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other neurodevelopmental conditions. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while supporting residents' mobility needs. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Valid experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
