Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Caregiver Days and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring compassionate, attentive care. In this vital role, you will provide daytime support to residents in group home or assisted living settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energy and empathy will help create a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and supported every day. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor residents' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support residents with mobility using proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and incident reports Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as group homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Experience working with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, or hospice care is highly desirable Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality home & community care This role is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to support individuals with diverse needs through personalized care plans.
