Direct Care Provider-NE SA - Bexar County Home Care San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time $13.75 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Patient lift systems Cooking Wheelchair mobility assistance Personal grooming assistance Performing background checks Bathing assistance Meal assistance Full Job Description Bexar County Home Care needs to hire immediately a Direct Care Provider to work at our group home located in Northeast San Antonio. This home is our most medically needy home.
Hours are as follows:
36 hours total Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7am - 7pm (12 hr shif t) Starting pay for persons with at least one year experience will be paid $13.75/hr. Job entails assisting 6 intellectually and developmentally disabled persons with their personal care, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, and possible community outings. Persons working in this positions must be able to use a Hoyer lift, be able to assist residents in bathing, and be able to transfer residents from wheelchairs to bed, etc. Background checks and drug testing is required.
