Caregiver and training for adults with intellectual disabilities at a facility.

```Duties```

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating/feeding, toileting, transferring from wheelchair to changing bed, changing soiled clothing
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Engage/participate in social activities in facility and in outings
• Accompany clients to social outings and various errands
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients ```Requirements```
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

  working with intellectually disabled adults
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain client confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and necessary restraints
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
