Crisis Nursery Caregiver at Box Elder Family Support Center Step into a role where your kindness, energy, and skills can make a real difference in the lives of children and families in need. At the Box Elder Family Support Center , we're looking for passionate, compassionate people to join our On-Call Crisis Nursery Caregiver team What it's like: You'll be part of a friendly, caring community that's been helping families in Box Elder County since 1995. Your days will be filled with warm greetings, playful activities, and helping children feel safe and loved during tough times. Think of it as a mix of childcare, crisis support, and making a positive impact — all while earning $15-$16/hour and enjoying a flexible schedule, Perfect for students or someone who wants to make a difference.
Your role:
Provide nurturing, age-appropriate care for children ages 0-11 Prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise play, and keep the space clean and safe. Offer emotional support, positive behavior guidance, and developmentally appropriate activities. Be ready to respond to crisis calls, including possible overnight stays, and help connect families with the right resources Other responsibilities include: Assist with set up and clean up for events, attend staff meetings and trainings.
