Job Description

Direct Support Staff (DSP)•Make a Difference Daily! Join our team and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independent, meaningful lives in their own homes and day programs. Build relationships, teach life skills, and assist with daily routines in a rewarding, purpose-driven role. A perfect job for those interested in the fields of nursing, medical supports, social work, behavior supports, and therapy, but anyone with a desire to help others will find it rewarding and meaningful. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management Able to pass a background check Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting Observe and report any changes in individuals' behavior or health status Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents Foster effective communication and build positive relationships with individuals and their families Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care Qualifications Patience and Understanding Joy and Laughter Creativity and Enthusiasm Strong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide personal care Experience in group home settings or long-term care is a plus, but not required Basic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is beneficial Willingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environment •No Prior Experience Necessary•Paid Training Provided!

Wage and Benefits:
