As a Direct Support Professional at Rising Adventure Community Services, you will play a pivotal role in changing lives and making dreams come true. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, and adventurous individuals to join our team. Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
  • Monitor and document changes in individual's behavior or health status
  • Implement behavior management techniques as needed
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
  • Collaborate with other partners to ensure the well-being of individuals
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Previous experience in caregiving or direct support preferred
  • Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor, humility and passion for learning This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing quality care to individuals with special needs.
