The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care while ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients in various settings, specifically in a group home environment. This role requires a nurturing attitude and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication schedules. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning tasks. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and physical activity. Skills Experience in caring for adults with disabilities is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required to ensure client safety during emergencies. Ability to provide compassionate care, understanding the unique needs of clients with different levels of disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
