Job Description

Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
  • Monitor and document individuals' health status and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
  • Provide companionship and engage individuals in social and recreational activities.
  • Assist with transportation to outings, and community activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
  • Must be willing to transport the individuals we serve to and from the community.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transfer individuals who may have limited mobility.
  • Experience in providing care for individuals with Disabilities or other cognitive impairments.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain a clean environment is essential. Experience in medication administration and in home care is highly valued. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Hours available:
