"OF INDIVIDUALS WITH MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS
(24-Hour Residential Setting) We are seeking staff interested in working : 4pm- 12am and 12am-8am shifts needed. Priority given to candidates who are already Virginia medication aide trained, TOVA trained, and Virginia QMHP, QMHP-T, BHT, or BHT-A certified. Others are welcome to apply!Minimum Education Qualification:
GED or High School Diploma; however, we encourage anyone who is actively enrolled and in good standing in bachelor's degree and/or master's degree, as well! A dynamic, engaging, and caring direct support professional to provide care to adults who experience serious and persistent mental illness in a 24-hour group residence in accordance with the individuals' service plan. Applicants that are familiar with evidence-based practices and recovery principles as they pertain to adults experiencing serious mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, etc.) An individual who likes to think outside of the box when addressing complex behavioral needs and can exhibit flexibility. A strong set of clinical writing skills to ensure documentation represents the consumer's needs and voice and remains licensing compliant. Someone who cares deeply about reducing stigma associated with mental illness.Supplies:
