In Home Caregiver

My husband and I are seeking a kind and compassionate, adult female caregiver interested in helping with our daughter who is 28 years old and has autism for some weeknight/weekend hours. Hours would be flexible based on our mutual schedules and events that we we would like to attend. Number of hours would vary depending on need, but we could guarantee a minimum of 5 hours per week. Responsibilities would include supervising meals and activities at home, and help with some self care (brushing teeth, getting ready for bed if later in the evening). Some experience with caregiving is preferred but we can train the right candidate. We would ideally like to transition the right person to also being an overnight respite support for our family and get them on our approved Consumer Direct respite care list. If you are already registered as a care attendant with Consumer Director, we would supplement payment comiserate with experience.

$20.00 per hour
