This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional support. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence for clients across various care needs. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about supporting others and committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized memory care techniques Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of equipment for safe patient transfers Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Qualifications Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care Certification in First Aid and CPR; additional training in hospice or dementia care is a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare environments Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing signs of distress or deterioration Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for patient transfers or mobility assistance Familiarity with care plans, medication administration protocols, and vital signs measurement Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and their families Join our team if you're eager to provide compassionate support that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably.
