Job Description

Caregiver AJA home health care Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to the client. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for those in need of support due to age, disability, or health conditions. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bed bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support patients with mobility using equipment. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Observe and document patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and infection control practices Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Implement client's care plan tailored to her needs, including dementia or memory care requirements Assist with patient monitoring during activities and provide emotional support to promote well-being Support social activities and community engagement to foster a sense of independence Experience Prior work with individuals who have developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, or other cognitive impairments is highly desirable. Experience with patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and use of mobility aids. Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and experience working within long-term care or home & community care settings will strengthen candidacy. Prior exposure to social work or nursing support roles is a plus for those passionate about providing compassionate patient-centered care.
