We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving environments, including home community care, assisted living, home health settings, and availability on weekends. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting independence. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support. Support clients with physical tasks, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document client progress and communicate any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Foster a positive relationship with clients, their families, and other caregivers. Skills Proven experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care or home health. Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care best practices. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques. Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an assisted living or home community care setting.
