In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and those with special needs. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship in a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Provide support for meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to resident rights at all times. Provide specialized care for individuals with autism, memory care needs, or those receiving hospice care as required. Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times. Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred but not required. Knowledge of working with individuals with autism is a plus. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Strong understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity and respect for clients. Ability to assist with personal care tasks while ensuring client comfort and safety. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be reliable, compassionate, and possess a strong work ethic. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a clean environment.
