A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.
Immediate-Start Caregiver Needed in Orting Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. | $30 per hour MasterCare In Home Service Providers is looking for a kind, dependable, and upbeat caregiver for a consistent one-hour morning shift with an older woman in the Orting area. Our client has dementia, is receiving hospice support, and is still ambulatory. She has a fun, spirited personality, so someone with a good sense of humor would be a wonderful match. A caregiver who can laugh with her, and help her feel comfortable and respected will do very well in this home. Schedule Monday through Friday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Starting Tuesday, July 14 $30 per hour Five hours per week Applicants must be available to reliably cover all five weekday visits.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with changing pull-ups and clothing daily (core duty) Offering and preparing simple meals when the client is interested in eating Checking the mail Bringing in and putting away grocery deliveries Completing laundry and light household tidying as needed (as time allows) Engaging the client in companionship and meaningful activities, such as helping fold washcloths or laundry (as time allows) Assisting hospice personnel if a hospice visit overlaps with the scheduled shift Monitoring personal care supplies and reporting items that should be added to the next hospice order The home has two large senior lab dogs . They are friendly, sweet, calm, and have some mobility limitations, but applicants must be genuinely comfortable working around large dogs. Because this assignment requires daily intimate personal care, including clothing changes and full incontinence care, a female caregiver is required for this particular assignment due to the client's privacy needs (BFOQ).
