Job Description

Olympic Neighbors provides care to 6 residents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities living in our Adult Family Home so they can live safe and meaningful lives in our local community. This position primarily works Saturdays, with the opportunity to pick up overnight fill-in shifts as needed. Ideal for someone seeking consistent weekend work with flexibility for additional hours. Care Partners assist residents with : Daily routines (cooking, cleaning chores, hygiene, activities, etc.) Collaborate with family members, community professionals, and other staff Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for residents
Essential Job Functions:
Support residents to thrive in the home and community Engage residents and connect with them in a genuine and compassionate way Provide support for all aspects of residents' daily needs Assist with meal planning and preparation Maintain documentation in client files/medication logs Ensure the health and safety of residents inside and out of their home Assist with resident medication Maintain confidentiality Perform other related duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
MUST BE fully vaccinated against
COVID-19
Satisfactory result from criminal background check/fingerprints. Physically able to perform job functions. Current driver's license and positive driving record. Auto insurance. 2 step TB test Additional Training Required Once Hired. Experience working with people with IDD preferred. Will provide on-site training
