You have experience working with people with disabilities or other special needs, or you are willing to learn. You are flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs. You have a combination of education and experience, with a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate's Degree is preferred. What You Get to Do Each Day As a Day Services Assistant, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in our day program. You will assist with daily living skills, personal care, social and recreational activities, community integration, and behavioral interventions. You will also maintain documentation, communicate with other staff, and adhere to all policies and procedures. You get to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
