Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Med Passer/Caregiver to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to residents in a supportive living environment. Duties Safely administer prescribed medications and document each dose accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, reporting any abnormalities promptly Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies, ensuring a safe environment Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform safe patient lifting practices to prevent injury Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and reduce agitation or distress Maintain cleanliness of resident areas by assisting with light cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address concerns Follow resident's rights policies diligently, respecting their dignity, preferences, and confidentiality at all times Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in residential or home care settings Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, memory care techniques, and dementia-specific strategies is desirable Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus Proficiency in using EMR systems for medication administration and documentation Long-term care experience or residence-based caregiving roles will strengthen your application Join us if you're passionate about delivering compassionate caregiving that enhances quality of life!
