Job Description
In-Home Personal Care Provider Position Summary The In-Home Personal Care Provider delivers compassionate assistance to individuals in their homes. This role supports clients with daily living activities, promotes independence, and ensures a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living areas Monitor and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with medication Support errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and transportation to appointments (in the client's wheel chair mini van) Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous caregiving or personal care experience preferred Certification (CNA, HHA, or PCA) preferred but not required Ability to pass background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Skills & Competencies Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow care plans and instructions Dependability and strong time management Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support Working Conditions Work is performed in a private home setting May include evening, weekend, or holiday shifts Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $16 - 18 per hour flexible scheduling
