Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Youth Care Worker Epicenter of care LLC is looking for dependable, compassionate, and patient Youth Care Workers to join our team and help care for two children with disabilities in a comfortable, home-like setting. Our two clients use wheelchairs and are non-verbal. One client receives nutrition through a feeding tube. Because of the level of care involved, we strongly prefer applicants with previous caregiving or healthcare experience , but we are willing to train the right person. Preferred Experience & Qualifications We especially encourage applicants with backgrounds such as: Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Nurses (LPNs/RNs) CBRF-certified caregivers Personal Care Workers (PCWs) Home Health Aides Group home or residential care workers Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Caregivers experienced with individuals with disabilities Experience with feeding tubes or other specialized care is a plus CBRF certification is strongly preferred. Responsibilities As a Youth Care Worker, you will help provide a safe, clean, caring, and supportive home environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care Providing wheelchair and mobility assistance Administering medications according to each client's care plan Assisting with feeding, including feeding-tube care after proper training Preparing and cooking meals Cleaning and maintaining the home Laundry and other household duties Following each client's daily schedule and care plan Observing clients and communicating concerns or changes Providing companionship, interaction, and emotional support Maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable Caring and compassionate Patient and understanding Experienced in caregiving or healthcare, preferably Comfortable caring for non-verbal children with disabilities Comfortable providing hands-on personal care Comfortable assisting clients who use wheelchairs Willing to cook, clean, and help maintain the home Able to follow detailed instructions and care plans A good communicator and team player Willing to learn and complete required training Someone who genuinely enjoys caring for and helping others Training While we prefer experienced caregivers, we will provide training on the specific needs and routines of our clients , including feeding-tube care and other specialized responsibilities.
