As a CBRF Caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while assisting residents with daily activities and health needs. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, maintaining detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, employing behavior management techniques to promote safety and comfort. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in meal preparation areas. Utilize assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to aid in resident transfers and mobility. Maintain a clean, organized environment within the personal care homeadhering to health regulations and safety guidelines. Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies; communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is required. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and behavior management techniques is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for documentation purposes. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment; good stamina for active engagement throughout shifts.
