Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and energetic Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by delivering personalized care with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support medication administration following prescribed instructions while adhering to HIPAA regulations for privacy and confidentiality Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Implement individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals and document progress regularly Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Follow safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies Collaborate with healthcare teams, family members, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's care), or memory care needs preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts required Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
