Who We Are McKenzie's Mission is a faith-centered Adult Family Home supporting adults with disabilities in a residential setting. Our work is rooted in Christian values — compassion, dignity, service, patience, and respect. We are a small, close-knit team that believes caregiving should be person-centered, consistent, and done with integrity. Our staff play an important role not only in residents' daily care, but in helping create a stable, respectful, and supportive home environment. Current Openings We are currently hiring for: Full-Time Positions Part-Time Positions Weekends Only What the Role Looks Like This is an active, hands-on caregiving position. Staff are expected to remain engaged throughout the shift and provide support with professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and dressing Preparing meals and supporting residents during meals Medication administration according to care plans and training Community outings, activities, appointments, and church involvement Cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment Accurate documentation and communication with the team Supporting residents in building independence, routines, and meaningful daily lives What We're Looking For We care deeply about character, reliability, and work ethic. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required Caregiving, DSP, CNA, healthcare, or disability experience preferred CNA or CDCP certification is a plus Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings Who Should NOT Apply This role is likely not a good fit for individuals who: Frequently call in or struggle with attendance Prefer low-engagement or passive positions Are uncomfortable with hands-on care responsibilities Struggle with accountability, teamwork, or professionalism Are unable to maintain reliable scheduling commitments Are not comfortable in a Christian, faith-centered environment We value reliability highly because consistency directly impacts the wellbeing of the residents we support.
