We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. A family in Wausau, WI, is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide in-home support for their young adult child with special needs. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, kind, dependable, and genuinely enjoys building meaningful connections.
Pay:
  • $17.
66/hour
Schedule:
  • Thursday through Saturday, and every other Sunday
  • Part-time (hours are negotiable)
Tasks:
  • Transfers
  • Meal prep/Feeding
  • Personal Cares
  • Mobility
  • ADL's (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc)
  • Assist with medications, when needed
  • Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License -or- reliable transportation to and from shifts.
  • Prior experience working with individuals is desired; however not required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
  • Must pass background check.
