Join a care team as a Compassionate Care Advocate where your passion for empowering others will make a meaningful difference every day! In this vital role, you will provide personalized support to a female in her personal home. Your compassionate approach will not only provide personal care but will foster a safe, engaging environment that promotes growth and an opportunity for social connection. Responsibilities:
Personal hygiene (bed baths, skin care, dressing) Incontinence care (utilizing a bed pan and changing incontinence products) Light housekeeping (laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, linen changes as needed) Transfer individual with use of a Hoyer lift Cooking and preparing snacks Occasional errands Organize spaces within the home Build connection and companionship
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred Previous experience using a Hoyer lift or transfer device Excellent communication skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in home & community care settings or social work is advantageous Must be reliable and trustworthy with excellent communication skills
Compensation:
$17.32-$18.50 per hour
Schedule:
7:00am-9:00am 6:00pm-9:00pm The above schedule times do have flexibility and can work with your busy lifestyle Must be 18 to apply due to the nature of work
