Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and the ability to deliver high-quality care while promoting the dignity and independence of our clients. This role requires a commitment to patient observation, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in health status. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal preparation as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility challenges using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage in patient observation to identify any changes in behavior or health conditions. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices. Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or special needs, including autism or developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to follow care plans accurately while adapting to the individual needs of each client.
