Responsibilities:
Provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including: Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home Performing housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized diets Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
Personal Care:
Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with Dressing Medication reminders Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Dementia care Companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles Observe and Report changes in the client's condition or intake condition Check vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen Assist with change of ostomy appliances Reinforce dressings (non-sterile) Measure intake and output
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate Preferred Must be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screening Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance Current and valid
