Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team, committed to delivering exceptional support and personalized care to individuals across various settings. In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and foster a warm, respectful environment that promotes independence and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each individual receives the highest quality of care, enhancing their quality of life every day. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report any concerns promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition in accordance with dietary needs Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, especially in memory care or dementia settings Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages social interaction Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans Qualifications Experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, Alzheimer's & dementia care, hospice care, and autism support Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Certification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments is highly valued Commitment to providing compassionate care while maintaining professional standards of safety and confidentiality Join us as a Care Provider if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated caregiving.
