Job Description

Overview This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents in your community by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering independence. You will play a vital role in enhancing their well being and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals, provide light housekeeping and companionship. Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's . Maintain a safe environment while engaging in meaningful activities. Document your visit, provide updates of care plans and assist co-workers. Qualifications Prior experience working with people with different physical and/or cognitive abilities. Certification in CPR and First Aid, certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus. Strong communication skills. Compassionate attitude, able to provide respectful and person-centered care.
Pay:
$16.50 - $22.50 per hour
