Job Description

In this energetic and rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents with developmental disabilities, cognitive impairments, and other health conditions. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a safe, nurturing environment where each individual can thrive. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing for certain individuals and their personal goals. Monitor clients spending and daily living habits, prompt the client to work o. Their individual goals, observe clients conditions, and report changes promptly through the proper channels. Administer medications following care plans and adhering to the company's policies and procedures. Ensuring accurate documentation. Implement behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques to ensure a calm, respectful environment. Engage participants in social activities, recreational programs, and community outings to encourage socialization and independence. Encourage cleanliness of the living environment through prompts for cleaning duties, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Familiarity with participant safety protocols, first aid procedures, CPR and first aid, crisis intervention techniques, and maintaining HIPAA regulations for confidentiality. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Excellent caregiver communication skills to provide compassionate support and clear documentation of participant conditions. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices, Transport participants as needed for appointments or other needs.
