Job Description

Brief Summary:
Provides support services for the Medical Travel and Funeral Assistance Program (MTFA), coordinating travel with program staff, and providing interpreting services for Inupiat clients. Position is located in Anchorage, AK.

Essential Job Functions:
Provide resources and information to clients in regards to Alaska Native Medical Center and their Quyana House and Patient Housing, the Travel Management Office (TMO), ASNA MTFA, other ASNA resources and Medicaid. Assist clients in applying for
ASNA MTFA
services. Periodically provides interpreting services for Inupiat clients. Provide a comfortable, safe, and friendly atmosphere for clients. Maintain close working relationship with supervisor, Maintain a good working relationship with clients and service providers.
Education & Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or a G.E.D. Two years of administrative experience preferred Must maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to the standards for behavioral health recordkeeping and HIPAA requirements, REQUIRED .
Certification/Licensure:
