The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of cases while providing support to our clients. Responsibilities:
Must know how to work with and manage a diverse group and how to pivot. Must know medical management and how it ties into case management. Familiar with case and claim values. Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care. Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the case management process. Utilize case management software to track and document case progress. Gathering medical reports. Determining the extent of damage covered by the insurance policy, along with other basic litigation duties. Handling all types of pre-litigation cases including auto, dog bites, slip and fall, premise, pedestrian, and government claims. Opening claims, sending representation letters, setting clients up with medical providers, managing appointments, running policy limits, requesting police reports, sending D.M.V. documents, requesting medical records, bills, and confirming medical balances. Work in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of responding quickly to the needs of the clients. Coordinate and monitor services provided by various agencies and organizations.
Qualifications:
Knowledge in personal injury is a MUST. Bilingual in Spanish (REQUIRED) Must be organized excellent at multi-tasking. Exceptional customer service skills Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate medical records and complex medical information. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness. Critical thinking and problem solving to determine the best course for each client. Ability to manage a high caliber caseload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Experience assisting doctors and patients in a healthcare setting. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using case management software and Microsoft Office. Handling of governement claims is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience with Personal Injury Case Management
