Job Description
Case Manager Be the steady guide for clients navigating one of the most important journeys through one of the most difficult time of their lives. Why This Role Matters The disability claims process is overwhelming for most clients. You will be their consistent point of contact—from intake through denial, approval, or appeal. With empathy, precision, and urgency, you'll ensure every case progresses, every client is heard, and every deadline is met. What You'll Do Manage a High-Impact Caseload Oversee ~300 active SSD/SSI claims Review every file at least once every 60 days Track status in Litify, Assure , and with SSA Drive Case Progression Schedule intake appointments within 1 business day File appeals within 30 days of denial Maintain 80%+ conversion rate on qualified leads Support Hearings & Resolutions Update forms (e.g., 3368), confirm hearing readiness, request medical RFCs Help attorneys get the right records, from the right providers, on time Review award letters with clients; initiate disengagements where appropriate Communicate with Purpose Explain process, set expectations, and follow up on SSA forms Maintain detailed call logs and next steps Coordinate with Legal Assistants for accurate updates Train, Collaborate, and Improve Complete all Trainual modules with 100% accuracy Support teammates during absences; attend all meetings on time Be coachable—seek feedback and apply itWhat Success Looks Like Case Review Frequency:
100% of cases reviewed at least every 60 daysIntake Response Time:
Applications/new client meetings are scheduled within 1 business dayLead Conversion:
80%+ conversion rate on qualified assigned leadsAppeal Filing Timeliness:
100% of appeals filed within 30 days of denialHearing Prep Readiness:
100% of records updated ≥60 days before hearingClient Communication Quality:
