Job Description

Position Overview:
The Case Manager is responsible for handling personal injury claims from intake through settlement or litigation handoff. This role requires strong organization, client communication, and the ability to move files forward without constant supervision. You are the point person responsible for keeping each case progressing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a full caseload of pre-litigation personal injury files from start to finish
  • Conduct client intake, gather facts, and open claims with insurance carriers
  • Obtain and review police reports, medical records, and billing
  • Track treatment progress and follow up with clients regularly
  • Communicate with adjusters regarding liability, coverage, and claim status
  • Prepare demand packages, including summaries of liability and damages
  • Coordinate and assist in settlement negotiations with attorney oversight
  • Draft impact statements and help develop damages narratives
  • Monitor deadlines, statute of limitations, and key case milestones
  • Identify when a case requires escalation to an attorney or transition into litigation
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files within the case management system
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of personal injury experience, preferably in pre-litigation
  • Strong understanding of bodily injury claims and the insurance process
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and independently
  • Excellent communication skills with both clients and insurance adjusters
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate overall case value
  • Experience with case management software such as Filevine, Clio, or Needles
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required What Matters in
