OVERVIEW

The Case Manager will provide services to 12-15 children (caseload will be prorated based on hours worked per week). Supervise the placement for each assigned foster child and provide support for the child and foster parents.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to and attend to details of crises that may arise during working and non-working (on call) hours. Carry emergency pager during certain periods. Cultivate contacts and relationships with outside agencies and individuals that have both direct and indirect bearing on the case. Control and authorize all contact with natural family members. Clarify all visits and service plan with county social worker. When practical, support and encourage natural family to comply with service plan and seek therapy program. Utilize personal specialists and provide at least one additional program duty as assigned according to needs and abilities (i.e. interview foster parent prospects, train foster parent prospects). Maintain documentation for client files and case manager notebooks. Attend all meetings as required by staff and supervisors. Complete treatment plan for the foster child and a Needs and Services plan when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a related Master's Degree from an accredited university (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) Must have relevant work experience Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Must maintain a criminal record clearance Must maintain valid California Driver's License and clean driving record in accordance with Olive Crest's auto insurance policy
