02/19/2026 About the Role Clarvida is seeking a Home Study Evaluator to work with prospective foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC families throughout Colorado. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive home studies by meeting families in their homes, assessing readiness, and compiling detailed reports that support court decisions and child placement outcomes. This is a flexible, project-based role ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income while making a meaningful impact on children and families. Responsibilities Conduct SAFE home studies for foster, foster-to-adopt, kinship, and ICPC families Meet with families in their homes to assess safety, stability, and preparedness Gather and analyze family, environmental, and background information Prepare detailed written reports with recommendations for court review Ensure compliance with Volume 7 regulations and state requirements Maintain accurate, timely documentation Communicate professionally with families, courts, and internal teams Requirements Bachelor's degree (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology preferred) Bilingual English/Spanish required Completion of 2-day SAFE Home Study Training with active SAFE certificate Knowledge of Volume 7 regulations related to foster, adoptive, kinship, and ICPC home studies (training provided if needed) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Compensation Contract / Project-Based $30/hr Additional compensation for updates, expedited requests, or bilingual services Flexible scheduling Excellent part-time or supplemental income opportunity How to Apply If you are passionate about supporting children and families through quality home assessments and court-informed recommendations, we encourage you to apply for the Home Study Evaluator role with Clarvida.
