You will be working in a halfway house, which is a transitional housing facility. This candidate must speak Spanish fluently as well as English, as well as speak English fluently. The individual must be a strong writer and very well organized. We are seeing a team player for this position. This job requires strong case manager skills and must have 3 to 5 years on the job experience in a HALFWAY house facility. Here are the core duties and responsibilities: Intake and Assessment Conduct initial interviews and evaluations Identify a resident's physical, mental and social needs, as well as potential barriers Collaborate with clients for their betterment Must help with housing, employment and sobriety and/or drug use. Link residents with substance abuse and other services if needed. Help with vocational training and job assistance. Give life skill coaching Crisis intervention. Provide immediate support during emergencies, which must be reported immediately. Documentation must be done properly, detailed and audit ready. Note files, incident reports and securedmanage must be done with extreme aplomb and skill. You need your driver's license, as well as bachelor's degree, which is a requirement for the position. Must work with the Parole Division; and maintain a respectful transparent partnership with this state agency
