Salary:

$65,000-$81,000 per year

Make a Meaningful Impact in the Lives of Tribal Members The Tribal Guardianship Program within the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Advocacy & Guardianship Department provides comprehensive guardianship services to Tribal Members who need assistance managing their personal, medical, legal, and/or financial affairs. The Guardianship Case Manager provides supportive services and case management for Tribal Member wards while coordinating services related to their personal and medical care and overall well-being. This position also helps ensure the legality and propriety of guardianship services for individuals who have been determined unable to manage their own financial and/or personal affairs due to age, illness related to aging, developmental disabilities, or other incapacity. The ideal candidate brings strong case management experience, compassion, sound professional judgment, and experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral health, developmental, or community-based service needs. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoing case management and supportive services to Tribal Member wards. Coordinate services related to personal care, medical care, well-being, and other identified needs. Advocate for the needs and best interests of individuals receiving guardianship services. Help ensure appropriate coordination of services on behalf of each ward. Maintain services in compliance with applicable Tribal, State, and Federal regulations adopted by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Work collaboratively with community providers, families, and other members of a multidisciplinary team. Provide culturally sensitive, professional, and community-based services. Participate in a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. What We're Looking For Candidates should have experience working in case management, social services, behavioral health, child welfare, or related human services settings. Experience working with any of the following populations is especially valuable: Individuals with mental health disorders Individuals with substance dependency-related conditions Individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities Individuals receiving community-based treatment or support services Multi-diagnosed individuals with complex service needs Experience working with populations diagnosed with psychiatric, substance use, and/or intellectual developmental disorders is preferred. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Case Management, or a related field is required. Master's degree in a Human Services-related field is highly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the Child Welfare field as a social worker or case worker with family systems and/or community-based treatments is required. Guardianship certification is preferred. Experience working with multi-diagnosed individuals and community-based treatment is required. Knowledge of community support services and the ability to participate and contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary team is required. Additional Requirements Valid Florida Driver's License. Proficiency with Microsoft software packages. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate appropriate and culturally sensitive service delivery and community-based services. Ability to exemplify the highest level of professional standards. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
