Job Summary:
This position provides assistance to those that want to achieve an optimal level of independent functioning. Our Case Managers link Clients to comprehensive resources promoting a recovery-focused lifestyle within the parameters of Collier County Drug Court.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing eligibility screenings in both community and jail settings. Carefully managing Urine Screenings. Conducting home visits and various field work. Linking Program participants with appropriate and thoughtful services. Attending weekly Staff and Court meetings that cover various disciplines. Working closely with professionals in the Legal and Drug Court fields.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in psychology, social work, behavioral science or related field = Required 1 years of experience working with adults in a behavioral health/community services setting = Preferred Exceptional skills in organization (time and information), task prioritization and independent problem solving = Required Skills in Case Management tracking = Preferred Active/Clear FL Driver's License = Required Local Travel = Required Spanish Bilingual = Preferred Knowledge of overall objectives, treatment concepts and regulations pertaining to the care and treatment of the mentally ill = Preferred Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of Clients, colleagues, agencies and community members = Required Dedication to the organization's mission, standards, procedures and protocol = Required Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred Staying compliant on all training and immunizations. Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting (General Information can be found HERE),
Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check Physical Requirements:
This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
