Demonstrated familiarity with public benefits system, WIOA and other work incentive programs Bi-lingual (English-Spanish or English-Haitian Creole) preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and maturity in handling sensitive information, client interaction and community relations. Demonstrated experience in developing relationships with clients and service providers. Other duties as assigned.

This position may require independent travel between workstation and other sites. Consequently, the incumbent must maintain valid Driver's License and insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times during employment. Performing the duties of this position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, reach, talk, hear and lift presentation materials, including equipment. Position Summary This position works under Gang Alternative, Inc.'s Supported Employment (Project ENGAGE) Program. The goal of this program is to provide culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate self-sufficiency-focused employment services to adults with serious mental illness (SMI) or co-occurring mental and substance use disorders (COD) in South Florida's Tri-County Area (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in conducting outreach for SE Program Provide comprehensive information about benefits and work incentives to individuals in the SE program. Create personalized benefits plans to help enrollees manage their benefits and health care coverage as they work more and increase their Regularly meet with enrollees who are considering going to work to review their benefits and project how work will affect them. Use a strengths-based approach to work collaboratively with participants and internal and external partners. Prepare reports, as required. Other duties as assigned.
