Patient Companion Spirit and Love North Miami Beach, FL Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills English Driver's License Patient interaction CNA Full Job Description Companion Caregiver (HHA/CNA/RBT) - Part-Time Spirit and Love is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Companion Caregiver to provide services to an adult male client. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting individuals with special needs while promoting independence and community involvement. Position Details
    Location:
    North Miami Beach
    • Adult male client
    • High-functioning and independent
    • 20 fixed hours per week
    • 18.00 per hour
    • Male caregivers are encouraged to apply
    • Immediate start available Companion Responsibilities
    • Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
    • Engage the client in friendly conversations throughout the day.
    • Encourage independence while providing supervision and support when needed.
    • Accompany the client to community activities, restaurants, shopping, parks, recreational outings, and other approved locations.
    • Promote participation in community-based activities and healthy social interactions.
    • Ensure the client's safety and well-being during community outings.
    • Complete required documentation according to agency and Medicaid/APD requirements. Qualifications
    • Excellent English communication skills (fluent conversational English required).
    • HHA, CNA, RBT, or individuals with experience working with people with special needs are encouraged to apply.
    • Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
    • Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are preferred. Required Documents
    • Active AHCA Level 2 Background Screening.
    • Current local police background check.
    • Eligible to work in the United States.
    Pay:
    $18.00 per hour
