Through safe and nurturing housing, culturally grounded care, and trauma-informed relationships, we encourage them to discover their passions, embrace their resilience, and thrive as compassionate, responsible leaders in their families and communities. Since 1970, Hale Kipa has championed Hawai'i's youth and children. We provide youth outreach, independent living facilities, therapeutic foster care, a haven for runaways, and more. Our founders recognized a need for a nonprofit to step in to assist this deserving population and we are still doing that critical work today, on O'ahu, Kaua'i, and the Island of Hawai'i. Role Overview An Outreach Case Worker is to provide comprehensive, client-centered, goal-oriented process for assessing the need of a young person for particular services, assisting him/her/them to obtain and complete those services and, at a systems level, to coordinate the provisions of services with community resources available to the young person. The individual in this position will conduct business in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Hale Kipa. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organizational policies, regulations, and procedures. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required. At least one year of experience working with youth/young adults is essential and preferred. Requirements Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems. Consistent and timely documentation.
